General 1) Respect the staff and their decisions. They are not here to argue, they are here to make this a safe place for all to enjoy. 2) Treat others as you’d want to be treated. This extends to all members of the site. 3) This site is a safe space for all. While your characters may express intolerance to an extent, OOC you are expected to be mindful of others. Discrimination of identity, community, or any more of the sort will not be tolerated. 4) Harassment and bullying is prohibited. If you have an issue with another member please work it out away from the public eye, or feel free to bring it to a staff member. 5) Art theft is highly looked down upon and prohibited within our boards. All images must be properly credited and legally available for personal or public use. 6) We are a 16+ roleplaying forum, due to depictions of mild violence and language. Those suspected to be under age will have their accounts frozen until the proper age is reached/proved to the staff team. 7) Attempts to avoid or find loopholes to our rules and guidelines will result in consequence. 8) Abide by Proboard’s TOS.

Roleplay 1) Powerplay is prohibited. You do not control the actions of another’s character, and your’s most likely will not know what they will do next. Refer to this link for a guide to roleplaying without power playing. 2) As we are a semi-literate roleplay forum, please refrain from replying in one-liners. We ask that you try to match the writing length of your partner(s), but understand that writer’s block often attacks us all. Therefore, there is no minimum word count, but we do request a minimum of three full sentences. See below for examples: 3) Please utilize proper grammar and spelling when posting to the in-character boards. This site is majority English, as well as the setting. It is rare a character would know another language, but should they happen to, please include a translation for those who cannot understand. 4) Minimize out-of-character talk within in-character boards. Please utilize the private messaging system or the forum’s Discord server for long periods of conversation. 5) As this is a 16+ site, implying that there are minors present on the boards, as well as via Proboard’s TOS, descriptive scenes of sexual content are forbidden. Any scenes that are presumed to be heading in that nature are asked to “fade-to black”. 6) Shooting StarClan (SS) follows its own ratio of IRL time to IC time. It is as follows: 7) This roleplay takes place in 3rd-person past tense. This is to assure all posts may be understood to the best of our ability, as well as to prevent powerplay. See an example on the correct roleplay format below:

Characters 1) Characters should be well-rounded in their characterization. They should have positives, quirks, and flaws and should not react perfectly to every situation. They may not be friends with everyone, and they may not be overly important in every plot. 2) In-Character accounts are not to be created until the OC has been approved. This is to assure members are not forced to recreate said accounts should changes need to be made to a character’s name. The username of your IC account should be registered as the name of your character’s given/future warrior name and nothing else. 3) The maximum amount of characters a user may have is 6. Four to any clan of your choosing and two outsiders of your choosing. New members may only create up to 2 at the time of registration, of which will be raised to the base max upon both characters being considered active. More character slots may be earned through activity and staff decisions. 4) We are a realistic Warriors roleplay, or at least as realistic as one may get with talking cats. Characters must fit into this world to the best of your ability. If it cannot happen irl, it cannot happen here. 5) Litters must be applied for before being considered official to limit kitten overloads within clans. A maximum of 4 kits are allowed, with a rare fifth depending on the season, and the given amount will be rolled by staff. All kittens must have a Roleplayer to be considered. 6) Aging within Shooting StarClan is done according to rank and activity. It is as follows:
